J-Dawg and Spencer are joined by Chris and John from the Pink Smoke to discuss the monumentous epic Kurosawa/Mifune swan song...Red Beard. This was the final film they worked on together. They discuss a varioety of things from Ozu to Ghosts of Mars to Donald Richie to that awkward surgery scene. Red Beard is available on DVD and Filmstruck. The runtime is imposing but it's worth the watch.
