Joel and Spencer discuss the convoluted, Jidaigeki, Mobster, and yakuza film, Hunter in the Dark from 1979 (not much for 1980). The film stars...Tatsuya Nakadai and Sonny Chiba. This is the sleaziest movie covered so far. Jigoku and Gates of Flesh look tame in comparison. They also go over their favorite films of 1979.
Also Joel HAS NOT seen the Steve Martin classic...The Jerk.
